Cross Country Teams Qualify for Region 4 Championships
Girls and Boys Varsity and JV Cross Country Teams competed in the District 27-6A Championship Races at Starke Park in Seguin on Friday October 14th.  Out of the 8 schools competing, the SVHS Girls Varsity and Girls JV won their respective races to claim the title of District Champions.  The SVHS boys varsity and boys JV both finished second in their respective races.
Individually, in the girls varsity race, SVHS sophomore Cambria Clark won the race to defend her title from last year.  In addition to Cambria, Meggan Muzquiz, Jianni McDole, McKenzie Jensen, and Danielle Keranen earned All District performer awards
In the girls JV race, sophomore Sydney Jensen led an SVHS sweep as our girls took the top seven places in the race for a perfect score in their victory.
In the boys varsity race, Chase Bracher, Clayton Wilkerson, Andres Engle, Mason Garner, and Kirk Zuber earned All-District performer awards.
In the boys JV race, Sam Torres and Jacob Pickeron led the way with second and third place finishes.
Both the boys and girls varsity teams qualified for the Region 4 Championship races to be help on October 29th in Corpus Christi.
