(Spring Branch, TX) –
Ranger fans, friends and family paid tribute to the 2016 Varsity Football team last night in the Auditorium at the Smithson Valley High School campus. The team finished the season as Bi-District Champions and massed an overall record of 8-3 with a 27-6A record of 6-1. This team will always be remembered as having an explosive offense, a crushing defense and unmatched special teams unit. However, anyone that was fortunate enough to spend any time with the team would tell you that they were outstanding young men off the field as well.
Rangers Head Coach, Larry Hill was the host of the evening and throughout the event characterized the 2016 Rangers with a focus on their bond.
They refused to allow others to dictate their fate. They didn’t flinch from setting the highest goals.
The 2016 Rangers were honored by being introduced by position and the culmination of the event was the Jim Worthey Award being presented to Senior Quarterback, Josh Adkins.
